Located on the banks of Lake Buchanan just 60 miles northwest of Austin, Spider Mountain is home to Texas’ first and only lift-served mountain bike park and the only lift-served, year-round mountain bike park in the U.S.

From our green trail Itsy-Bitsy to more aggressive Blue and Black trails, including our North Shore style trail with nine wooden features, Tarantula, you’ll find some fun. Once you’ve had your fill of gravity-fueled thrills, sample our lake resort amenities just a short walk or spin away at Thunderbird Lodge at Spider Mountain where you’ll find lodging, our event center, fishing, SUP and boat rentals at our private marina and more.
