Activities
Kayaks and Paddle Boards
Rent a paddle board or kayak for your human powered excursions on Lake Buchanan. Great for exploring the lake while enjoying your time and cooling off.
The Marina
Lake Buchanan is famous for boating, fishing and other water sports. Our convenient marina will give you easy access to your boat. We also have slips available to accommodate larger boats.
Fishing
Lake Buchanan is noted for its excellent striped bass and white bass fishing, plus largemouth bass and Guadalupe bass. Striped bass are stocked by Texas Parks and Wildlife. Blue, channel and flathead catfish, plus white crappie can be found throughout the reservoir.
Gas for Your Boat
Thunderbird Lodge offers the ONLY on-water gas on Lake Buchanan on the marina. Save time and gas up at Thunderbird Lodge.
