Guests can be whisked 350 feet up to the summit of Spider Mountain where you can soak in some of the best views in the Hill Country as you look down at Lake Buchanan and the surrounding area. After, enjoy hosting your guests in our beautiful Event Center, which can accommodate up to 200 people for an indoor reception, or utilize our lakefront property for the ultimate outdoor party. Want a more intimate reception? Our huge house, The Texan is a great option.

The Event Center
Provide the ultimate party for up to 200 of your family and friends in Thunderbird Lodge’s charming Event Center. Besides having the tables and chairs provided with the rental, the Event Center comes with a generous-sized kitchen to accommodate your needs. In addition to the ample seating inside, the back deck offers even more space for guests to gather while watching a stunning Hill Country sunset over Lake Buchanan.
Our Event Center can accommodate groups up to 200 people. We have tables and chairs, plus a full kitchen. Guests may order in catering or utilize the kitchen.
