Eclipse Viewing at Spider Mountain
April 8 @ 8:00 am – 3:00 pm
The total eclipse is coming and the Texas Hill Country is on the event line to view the total eclipse. Combine this alignment with views from the summit of Spider Mountain accessed by the only chairlift in Texas and you’ve got one of the best viewing spots of this rare sights of nature. We will be closing to bike traffic Monday, April 8th in order to accommodate more people on the mountain to spectate this incredible event. We will be offering scenic chairlifts rides and access to our Eagle View Hiking Trail.
Parking
We will have limited parking available on site. $20 to park for the day. Payment available on site only. First come first serve. No reservations.
Hiking
A hiking ticket is needed to hike anywhere on Spider Mountain this day. The ticket gets you hiking access all day long. See ticket calendar here.

Scenic Chairlift Ride
A Scenic Chairlift ticket gets you unlimited access to ride the Texas Eagle on Monday, April 8 from 8a-3p. See ticket calendar here.
