Spider Fest

Join us for Spider Fest on Saturday, Sept 30th! The celebration is geared at having the most fun on a bicycle as possible. It is filled with fun and FREE festivities for all. End your day of biking fun poolside at Thunderbird Lodge where we will be having a pool party from 1:30p-4:00p. All events are completely FREE beyond the cost of a lift ticket or season pass.

We will also have special $5 scenic lift ride donations benefitting the Boys and Girls Club of Highland Lakes.

FREE Intro to DH Clinic • 9a-11

A guided introduction to the sport of downhill mountain biking at Spider Mountain Bike Park. If this is your first time experiencing lift-served mountain biking, this lesson will get you started on the right track. If you have been downhill biking before but are looking to build your confidence and skills, our lessons will reinforce the fundamentals you need to conquer the trails. Meet at the bike shop at 9a to meet your guides and head out on the mountain. 

Poker Laps • 8:00a-11:30a

Win Spider merch from resort partners! No entry fee this month. Get a random card at the bottom of the lift every lap. Take 5 laps and get 5 cards, keep lapping and swap out a card at a time to make the best poker hand possible. At 11:30a we will stop handing out cards and start determining who has the best hand and announce down by the pool. The grand prize will be awarded to the person with the best hand at the end of the jump contest! 

Jump Contest • 12p-1p

We will be hosting a jump contest on upper Antidote with awards for best whip, biggest air, and best trick. Categories for Power Kids (12 & younger), ladies, and everyone else! Whether you are hucking your meat or spectating this event is surely not one to miss. 

Pool Party • 1:30p-4p

Skinny Gauntlet Challenge • 1:30p-3p

Who has the best tech skills? Join us for this fun, silly, head to head contest to see who can make it the farthest on a skinny gauntlet before you get blasted with super soakers. Winner takes all with a prize from our resort partners

Music by SpidieKing • 8a-4p

Our very own SpidieKing will be spinning beats at the bottom of the lift, keeping vibes at an all time high. Come prepared with requests!
